About the Role
As a Design Manager,lead our design consultancy services and provide strategic technical direction across the Wellington region,and Australia. Working alongside Project Executives and Technical Leaders,play a pivotal role in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary transport projects that make a difference to our communities.
What You'll Do
- Lead design management on major infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Drive project success through effective risk management, quality assurance, and digital engineering implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private and public sector clients.
- Oversee the production of high-quality engineering design deliverables.
- Manage diverse project teams, including global resources and subcontractors.
- Support business growth through proposal development and tender preparation.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in design management within the transport infrastructure sector.
- Proventrack recordof successful project delivery in the Wellington/ANZ region.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills.
- Strong experience in Digital Engineering/BIM implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing complex budgets and commercial outcomes.
