About the Role

As a Design Manager,lead our design consultancy services and provide strategic technical direction across the Wellington region,and Australia. Working alongside Project Executives and Technical Leaders,play a pivotal role in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary transport projects that make a difference to our communities.


What You'll Do

  • Lead design management on major infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Drive project success through effective risk management, quality assurance, and digital engineering implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private and public sector clients.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality engineering design deliverables.
  • Manage diverse project teams, including global resources and subcontractors.
  • Support business growth through proposal development and tender preparation.
Here's what you'll need
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in design management within the transport infrastructure sector.
  • Proventrack recordof successful project delivery in the Wellington/ANZ region.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Strong experience in Digital Engineering/BIM implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in managing complex budgets and commercial outcomes.
