Located in San Diego, the Financial Analyst, M&A Finance Integration Management Office (FIMO) is responsible for supporting pre-and post-close integration efforts for various Finance/Accounting workstreams across M&A transactions. This role has responsibility for support of transaction needs throughout the entire M&A process from due diligence through completion of post-close milestones.
**Position requires to be onsite in San Diego full time
This role will be responsible for activities such as:
Project management support of pre- and post-close integration efforts for specified transactions and/or Finance and Accounting workstreams
Participating in and supporting the due diligence process
Assisting with analysis and preparation Net Working Capital and Net Cash proposals for definitive agreements
Preparation of closing payment schedules
Preparing/maintaining Corporate Development deliverables including due diligence readouts, Plan of Record and business cases
Maintaining transaction milestone trackers
Preparing and helping facilitate integration kick-off materials for Finance & Accounting
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
7+ years of accounting or finance experience in a global environment
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to clearly articulate complex processes to audiences with differing levels of understanding
Ability to collaborate in cross functional teams and actively manage teams to complete projects and tasks
Willingness to get things done, be resourceful and take ownership
Ability to recognize and apply a sense of urgency, when necessary
Comfort with ambiguity
Ability to operate in a diverse, matrixed, global environment across multiple time zones
Experience with US based multinational companies
Demonstrated skill with process improvements
International and multi-unit business experience is highly desired
Experience supporting M&A
