Description
-You will design, develop, release, maintain, and enhance micro-controller or embedded Linux code running in FPGAs and controlling Apple SoCs that power phones, pads, macs, and other unreleased products.-You will lead boards and Apple SoC bring-ups collaborating with cross functional teams.-You will own and develop novel architectures for specialty embedded solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field.
Key Qualifications
  • Proficient in C or C++
  • Experienced with embedded software, bare metal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with boot code, low-level OS code, device drivers, and IO devices
  • Experience with computer initialization, SoC bring-up, debuggers, and networking
  • Experience with FPGA, Verilog, HDL
  • Unix system-level programming, embedded Linux
  • Scripting (Python, Bash, Perl, TCL, Lua)
  • Experience with Xilinx Zynq or Altera SoC platform
  • Working knowledge of schematics and lab equipment
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
