Senior Consultant - Risk Transformation

We support organisations to enhance performance and improve through trust, transformation, innovation and risk. We help clients identify the risks that matter, design frameworks to manage them and, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance and management.

As a risk, trust and transformation professional, you will be addressing a wide range of client issues in public sector, corporate and not-for-profit in Sydney, and across Oceania. You will belong to an international network of specialists helping our clients design, implement and review significant and critical change priorities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Contributing to teams delivering risk, trust, resilience and transformation service engagements end to end, particularly enterprise risk management (ERM), governance, compliance and full cycle project risk management.
  • Planning, preparing and reviewing activities and deliverables for clients and other parties
  • Working on multiple client engagement teams within the practice and developing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience working for a blue chip, government or professional services organisation as in a risk, governance, strategy or compliance role.
  • Project & program risk management experience and knowledge of risk management, risks and controls concepts.
  • ERM design, implementation and operations, including risk service delivery.
  • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) knowledge and experience (TPRM function review, design and build, and/or TPRM operations support/deliver)
  • Knowledge of principles of Enterprise Risk Management and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts. information security and data privacy, leading security standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST), certification reports (SOC 1, SOC 2, etc.) and control frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO, OCEG, etc.).

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Risk and/or project, program or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in supervising a team, projects or processes to completion.
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus.
