Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Design and program a small module or a large component, feature, set of features, whole feature area or entire product.
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
Design and development of software features for CT SW for better efficiency and productivity.
Being a full stack developer ,lead researching new tools and technologies to keep our software development eco-system on the cutting edge for embracing microservices development and deployment models.
Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and test automation.
Diagnosing and improving application or system performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices.
Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products.
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, Continuous Integration, Product Security, Scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing Techniques.
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
7+ Years of Experience in software design & development.
Desired Characteristics/Technical Expertise:
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in full stack development (Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot framework, Microservices, Java & Python) in Linux environment
Experience in RESTful API driven development model.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Git or equivalent.
Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot and fix software issues.
Working experience in scaled Agile environment and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
Experience in usage of testing methodologies like Test-Driven Development (TDD) & Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and usage of tools like Junit, Mockito
Experience with Perl or Shell scripting languages.
Business Acumen:
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
Roles & Responsibility
Conduct and oversee investigations related to mechanical failures, performance issues, and design improvements.
Perform troubleshooting for field and manufacturing issues, investigate to determine root causes, assessment of risk, and appropriate CAPA actions.
Implement design changes that sustain existing products that are in the market
Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests as required to draw conclusions
Engaging in hardware lifecycle management, including solutions to obsolescence, verification of design solutions, improvement of manufacturing process, and cost out opportunities
Conducting analysis of installed base and new product reliability using FMEA, DFR tools
Experienced in quality engineering projects that provide imaginative solutions to engineering and customer issues
Perform failure analysis of issues reported from field, NCs, trending etc. including autopsies of failed units whenever available.
Document the detailed analysis using tools like fish bone, 5 WHYs, Reliability etc. and identify the root-cause of failures and propose solutions
Perform design integration, verification, validation, FMEA, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability analysis/ testing.
Co-ordination of manufacturing releases - Change implementation.
Perform detailed analysis and simulations of suspended mass systems to ensure stability, safety, and efficiency.
Education Qualifications
Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
Required Qualification
Degree in Mechanical Engineering and more than 5+ years relevant work experience
Ability to design, execute, analysis experiments.
Familiarity with mechanical 3D CAD tool ProE and Windchill
Effective oral and written English communication skills which need global cooperation.
