In this role, you will help chart the strategic direction of a data domain by defining and implementing the data products, ensuring they meet the needs of partners, and drive actionable insights that impact decision-making across the organization. You will partner directly with Engineering, Quality and Support teams, in addition to multiple cross-functional teams across Apple, to define and deliver on a multi-year product roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:International travel may be required.
- 7+ years of experience in data product management, preferably managing data for process automation and insights in the sales finance space, with a proven track record of successful delivery and continuous improvement
- Work experience in sales, finance or business development teams with exposure to sales finance and supply chain processes and strategies, including demand generation, pricing, sales scenario planning and sales forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to drive change, ensuring they receive the optimal solution while helping them understand any differences from their initial request
- Experience in analyzing large datasets using SQL and/or Pandas, contributing to predictive models, and understanding statistical methods to drive business planning
- Experience building complex data products with architects, engineers and data scientists in a professional environment
- Understanding of federated governance for data product development and a willingness to test the boundaries to enable federation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, including senior executives and technology leaders
- Experience using Agile or Kanban software development methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, relevant field or equivalent experience required
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, and the ability to assimilate and learn complex processes in a changing and dynamic work environment on a steep learning curve
- Experience leading and influencing various cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive decisions and outcomes
- Master’s degree preferred
