As a Director of Product Management for Memory, you will lead the strategic direction, development, and management of our advanced products portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our product lines, driving market leadership, and achieving business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, marketing, Auto/XR/Mobile/IoT/Compute business units, and operations to bring innovative memory solutions to market.
As an integral part of this role, you will work with ecosystem partners to align strategic development of new technologies, standards and to ensure roadmap alignment.
Occasional travel is required. Successful candidates should be able to think strategically, communicate effectively, and will have a proven track record of being able to execute efficiently. As a team player, one should have the innate ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing needs and working with various stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
As a Memory Product Manager, you’ll need a high-level understanding of SoC memory subsystem architecture and memory technologies, including LPDDR4/5/6, HBM3/4, DDR5/6 and DDR modules.
You’ll be responsible for researching state-of-the-art memory technologies, close collaboration with SoC architects, and pathfinding new memory platform solutions to impact Qualcomm mobile, auto, compute, AI projects.
You’ll work with SoC platform architecture, DDR IP, SoC Infra/interconnect and other memory-related components and evaluation teams.
Define and execute the product strategy for Qualcomm Memory roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and market needs from planning to tactical activities.
Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and align on the priorities.
Help drive the memory technology alignment with all disciplines, such as Automotive, Mobile, Compute, XR, etc.
Communicate memory product plans, benefits, and challenges to a variety of internal and external audiences with the right levels of details.
Work with OEMs/ODMs/memory suppliers, chipset product managers to understand product requirements, define key IP changes needed, and drive IP roadmap.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners to identify the opportunities to bring in their solutions onto Qualcomm platforms.
Monitor standard activities to understand the latest development across various standard bodies in partnerships with Qualcomm standard organization and contribute if needed to help ensure the direction benefits product roadmap.
Contribute to the Memory technology, product, and platform strategy by supporting the various business units within Qualcomm.
Stay up to date on competitive analysis of memory technologies, identify gaps, opportunities, and feed back to roadmap requirements to drive a competitive and differentiated roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Requirements:
10+ years of DRAM and NAND based memory industry experience.
Experience in various industry disciplines e.g. Automotive, Compute, XR, IoT, Mobile etc.
BS (Bachelor’s degree) in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
MS/MBA (Master’s degree).
Experience working with several memory technologies i.e. LPDDR/HBM/PCDDR/FLASH/NAND memory and related systems.

Pay range:
$189,000.00 - $284,000.00
