Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years of experience in an analytical position in high-tech companies.Extensive knowledge of Excel (Pivot table, data formulas, etc)
• Proven experience in economic modeling
• Fast learner of business knowledge and for grasping the concept of new modeling software
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
• Independent
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Bonus points:

• Experience in the Fintech industry
• Knowledge of data analytics workflows and tools.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

• Lead financial models to support forecasts and various ad-hoc requests, providing added-value insights to management to support business decisions.
• Analyze the business activity and trends.
• Building and maintaining yearly budget and rolling forecast.
• Generating periodical financial packages analyzing the company's results

The Finance department actively participates in designing features, managing the flow of funds, and making decisions. We monitor Melio’s gross profit and monitor financial data closely. We support Melio’s fast growth and manage all aspects of finance. We constantly improve our procedures, controls, and reports to help Melio reach new heights.
