In this role, you’re expected to:
The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
- Support the Mutual Funds / Alternative Products related processing for Asia Pacific Countries
- Handling of operation processes as maker function including order processing, settlement and corporate actions processing for Mutual Fund & Alternatives
- Ensuring quality processing and adherence to Citi Policies and Controls
- Liaison with other processing teams within the department, Product team and country operations teams located in countries supported by the department
- Ensure that the day-to-day processing of orders is completed smoothly adhering to the cut off times
- Meet the Business expectation on operational matters and facilitate a high degree of customer satisfaction
- Timely handling of transactions and exceeding the Service expectation with internal clients.
- Must be detailed oriented to handle the large volume of daily transactions.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- Ability to work in diverse environments and cultures
- Minimum 2 to 4 year’s work experience preferably in operations
- Knowledge of investment products especially around Mutual Funds and Alternative Investments
- Responsible, organized and ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Provide high quality service to internal customers
- Articulate with strong communications skills both written and spoken
- Good Team Player
- May need to work on some Singapore Public Holidays
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
