Description
In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support the testing of multiple features and drive for quality via extensive hands-on functional testing of user-facing features and systems. You will be responsible for setting the bar high, going beyond ensuring a great experience, and helping to ship robust and amazing products taking an active role in shaping the quality of our products. This will demand deep integration with our development engineers, devising test plans and user studies, bug triaging, and supporting design reviews. You will also collaborate closely with automation teams to prioritize and expedite associated testing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or MS in CS/CE
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and associated test methodologies.
  • Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high quality user experiences.
  • Experience creatively building comprehensive test plans, evaluating risk, filing detailed bug reports, and communicating results.
  • Experience using UNIX shell environments and command line tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across various facets of the organization as well as understand technical and interdisciplinary dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software programming experience is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $56.65 and $85.52/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
