Key Responsibilities

The Globals Lead Technologist demonstrates remarkable proficiency across a wide spectrum of enterprise-grade Network and Security technologies. Moreover, they possess a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively apply this technical acumen to achieve strategic business outcomes for Check Point's most critical and valued customers. This is a highly visible and influential role which requires dynamic communications at multiple levels, presentation skills amongst varied audiences of both business and technology leaders and an overall business technical presence that earns immediate credibility. You are:

  • An elevated hybrid type who is an Evangelist, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Lead Technologist all rolled into one.
  • An experienced, highly accomplish and credible technical evangelist with architect mind-set and hands-on experience in one or many specialized focus areas such as Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity, IOT, AI, DevOps, Automation, etc.
  • A highly accomplished, credible resource with financial services industry specific expertise with the ability to articulate a solution at the practitioner level as well as up into the C-Suite
  • A distinguished technologist with expertise in a wide range of cybersecurity products and a CTO-like mindset for leadership and innovation who uses your industry, product, and solution expertise to strategically educate customers on solutions that are aligned to their business objectives and that of their industry.
  • A highly valued member of the globals sales team who is a master resource who creates trusted advisor level relationships at the highest levels with customers and prospects.
  • A highly motivated and dynamic individual able to navigate and integrate with all personality types. You have your own curiosity and are able to challenge and create curiosity around the ‘art of the possible’.
  • A complement the field SEs, Architects and Customer Success by ensuring our long-term sales plan remains aligned with the customer’s long-term business and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Build and maintain strong high-level relationships with our customers acting as a trusted advisor who is responsible for providing a perspective as it relates to the portfolio, the industry and the customers objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer’s business objectives, any business challenges or pain points and align those with a strategy, an architecture, and the right Check Point solution(s).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge on Cybersecurity, industry developments including tackling competitive threats and comparisons in sales opportunities
  • Ability to present Check Point’s technology vision and value proposition to all levels of audience from executives to technical practitioner
  • Pro-actively drive meetings, exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions through effective presentations and discussions with customers at all levels from Executive (CISO) to practitioner
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective while ensuring customer’s best interest takes priority.
  • Deep understanding and product knowledge used in explaining the most up to date product features/benefits and competitive position, understanding and responding to the competition, gathering, and applying market knowledge
  • Partner with multi-functional teams such as Sales Engineers, Solutions Architects, Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Product Management and Engineering to drive success across the customer journey
  • Performs special projects related to the success of the globals team as assigned by management.
  • Continuously investing in yourself to develop technical and professional skills that drive your ever-increasing contributions to customer success while actively participating within the OCTO community and at industry events
