Job Summary:

As a Project Management/Data Ops – Associate/ Vice President within our team, you will understand and apply key principles of project management to participate/lead a change initiative or business expansion. You will also participate in/promote various phases of a project life cycle and manage the coordination and tracking of the prioritized list of initiatives within program(s) to address the business needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply key principles of project management to participate/lead a change initiative or business expansion
  • Participate in/drive various phases of a project life cycle (i.e., Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor / Control, Close)
  • Drive requirements, changes, gather test cases, audit and govern user acceptance testing
  • Conduct or assist in deep dives / process reviews / gap analyses
  • Participate in cost/risk and benefit analysis on multiple approaches to determine best solution
  • Manage the coordination and tracking of the prioritized list of initiatives within program(s) to address the business needs
  • Act as a communication channel for ongoing project management status and issues to ensure timely updates to stakeholders, set business expectations and lead to completion
  • Engage the right resources (content /subject matter experts) and build relationships to meet the project goals

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to create artifacts for projects, change initiatives or business expansions, (project charters, process maps, meeting minutes, projects tasks, risk and issue logs to identify risk & control implications, scorecards)
  • Responsive and accessible to stakeholders
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the business and actively seeks input to anticipate stakeholder needs and effectively meets or exceeds them
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues
  • Ability to participate on cross-functional project teams and present insights outputs to Senior leaders
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple research/analytics projects at the same time

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
  • 8 to 10 years of experience at a major financial institution
  • Project Management experience is preferred
