About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sales operations, strategy, consulting and or analytics. You’ll use and build skills across multiple capabilities, have a leading role in the department, acting as the engine to propel Enterprise Sales and Account Management forward.
This role calls for a problem solver with a positive attitude, who will thrive with ambiguity and can operate using a structured and thorough approach. More than anything, you’ll be passionate about delivering for Restaurant Partners and Couriers.
What you'll do
- Management: Manage a high performing team, acting as coach, traininer and thought partner, to help them develop and grow at Uber
- Cross Functional collaboration: acting as the bridge and ambassador between Enterprise and other UKI or Global departments
- Sales enablement: enabling the Sales and Account Management teams to deliver their role and achieve objectives, optimising for efficiency and quality of outcome. This could include owning a knowledge repository for the team, through to optimising processes in Salesforce to reduce admin and increase productivity
- Targets: set and measure targets
- Reporting: own team management reporting and individual / portfolio / account reporting
- Analytics and Insights: own the tools and reports the team use to understand their account / portfolio performance and opportunities and provide insights to Merchants to inform decisions
- Merchant Operations: own the tools and approach used by Sales and Account Management to reduce defects affecting Customer Experience, and improve the operations of Merchants trading on Uber
- Demand Generation: own the tools and approach used by Sales and Account Management to generate demand, growing order volumes for Merchants and achieving objectives such as increased frequency, loyalty, basket etc
What you'll do
- Experience as a manager of a high performing team, able to motivate, inspire and train a team
- Past experience in one or several of; Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Analytics, Strategy, Consulting
- Solid commercial experience and excellent commercial acumen
- Proven track record of working in a fast paced environment, where you’ve met or surpassed objectives/goals
- Confident in using data to make decisions, with the ability to source and structure data (such as using SQL) a plus
- Problem solving skills, able to think creatively and take the initiative
