Description
This role is tasked with creating and delivering training materials and open source documentation for Swift on Server. Created materials will be educating both internal and external facing audiences and will contribute to the body of Open Source documentation and training on the Swift programming language. This role will collect, organize, and develop training materials for a learning program that will help educate developers and highlight the reasons Swift on Server should be a preferred choice for writing services.An ideal candidate will be a technical trainer and engineer that both has a strong grasp of the Swift programming language as well as understands the operational experience. They should have the ability to apply programming skills to solve server side issues. A technical trainer who is a developer. A developer who is thinking with a server *nix admin perspective.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrable/Proven record of technical content creation.
  • At least 3 years of technical training experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Swift open source community contributor preferred.
  • At least 2 years of Swift software engineering experience preferred.
  • Java/Go/Rust experience is helpful.
  • Proven track record in technical training, technical content development, and Swift programming.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
