Your Key Responsibilities:
As an SAP Service Management – Manager.
- Participating in design workshops to gain a clear understanding of our client’s industry and business requirements.
- Learning about accelerators such as SAP Model Company or EY’s Pre-Configured Industry Solutions for potential use as design accelerators on client engagements.
- Customize SAP Service Management functionalities to meet the specific needs of clients, including asset management, work order planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and service execution.
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP Service Management, considering best practices and industry standards.
- Drive the development and maintenance of the SAP Service Management architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Producing key project deliverables including design and configuration documentation, functional specs, data migration specs, test scripts, training materials etc.
- Sharing knowledge of best practice within the SAP team and across other firm disciplines, as well as developing other members of the SAP team
- Supporting the development of the SAP practice, including leading internal team activities, supporting sales activities, and facilitating client events.
- Implement and manage SAP FSM to optimize field service operations.
- Utilize SAP Plant Maintenance to ensure efficient maintenance processes.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A third level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience delivering in SAP Service Management, with a proven track record of successful implementations and support
- Experience in implementation of S/4HANA Service Management solutions for utilities industry
- Experience with, or demonstrable understanding of, S/4HANA best practice processes, key benefits, and implementation scenarios
- In depth knowledge of SAP Service Management and Plant MaintenanceModulsincluding configuration, customization and integration with other SAP modules and external systems (e.g., SD, MM )
- Strong ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach
- Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Relevant SAP certifications in Utilities or related modules
- Knowledge of Customer engagement for Utility and SAP Field Service Management.
- Experience with full asset lifecycle management using EAM capabilities in S/4HANA
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into effective SAP Service Management solutions
