Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
   • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the development of microservices
   • Provide technical guidance and establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
   • Review and approve code, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and industry best practices
2. Microservice Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Golang
   • Ensure microservices are designed for scalability, reliability, and performance
   • Implement APIs and ensure seamless integration with other services
3. Container Orchestration:
   • Oversee the deployment and management of microservices on Kubernetes
   • Ensure efficient use of Kubernetes features like service discovery, load balancing, and auto-scaling
   • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Utilize the Robot Framework for automated testing of microservices
   • Ensure robust testing coverage including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
   • Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance software quality
5. Project Management:
   • Collaborate with Product owners, RTE, program managers, stakeholders, and other technical leaders to define project requirements and deliverables
   • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completion
   • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve any issues
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Golang, software development, and Kubernetes
   • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality
   • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies that can benefit the development process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices architecture
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Proficiency with the Robot Framework for automated testing
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex software projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms
• Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Certification in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) or Golang
