Your responsibilities will include:
- Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation
- Assess process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities, and innovate and implement process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes
- Execute experiments and/or prescribe testing as necessary to characterize and evaluate impact of proposed design and process changes
- Execute the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems
- Plan, organize, and conduct all aspects of technical reviews
- Write validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes
- Oversee development builds associated with the project using special work requests
- Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements (e.g., BOM’s, Process Flows, FMEA’s, etc.)
- Contribute ideas to or generate Intellectual Property submissions
- Assist manufacturing and production teams with design aspects of value improvement projects and production signal evaluations
- May serve as a core team lead or extended team member on new development projects
- Train and/or provide work direction to technicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in a closely related STEM field
- 5+ years of engineering experience relevant to this Battery Design role
- Demonstrated use of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools (for example, Design of Experiment [DOE], problem solving, etc.)
- Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment
- Experience with SolidWorks, or similar
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%)
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven ability to drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members
- Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products
- Medical device design and/or new product development experience
- Process development; equipment validation; process characterization and validation experience
- Experience using predictive modeling to inform solutions
- Experience analyzing/handling large data sets in automated tools (Python, etc.)
- Experience with Windchill
Maximum Salary: $ 156900
