Main duties:
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard contract administration and measurement techniques to the administration and assessment of progress claims, variation claims and notice of claims relating to Extension of Time (EOT) and Loss and Expense (L&E).
- Timely prepare and response to contractor’s letters/correspondences regarding all contractual matters, notice of claims, extension of time.
- Performs routine aspects of quantity surveying, assessment, processing and certification of progress claims, and general administration of contracts.
- Preparing cash flows, and contingency analysis.
- Checking progress claims and invoices.
- Certifying work done by Contractors.
- Review and evaluate extra payment and /or extension of time claims by the Contractors and make recommendations to the Client.
- Preparing cost estimates for variation claims, obtaining and assessing quotations, preparation of change notices, and SO Instructions.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Contract Management with an understanding of the Security of Payment Act (SOPA). Experience in managing multi-disciplinary claims ranging from architecture, civil structure to MEICA works.
- Well verse with Public Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
- MS Office skills.
- Ability to interface and collaborate effectively with contractors and Client’s project team.
