Primary contact for various LA-based projects, acting as interface between infrastructure team and end users, Facilities, external contractors, city officials, and Commissioning teams
Design reviews (primarily tool utility connections and interconnections), focused on constructability opportunities and validating tool and room requirements
Develop, communicate, and improve upon site logistics and project plans; this includes understanding construction and startup systems sequences, determining laydown requirements, negotiating scope delineations between vendor and onsite teams, planning for crane operations, and supporting equipment delivery coordination
Coordinate with the procurement team to create biddable work packages (RFP) and verify contractor bids against technical capacity, cost estimates, schedule milestones
Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems, meet/exceed project goals, and prioritize execution
Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary, including the ability to clearly communicate risks
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
Knowledgeable on local codes and regulations and experience with Permits / City inspections
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must
Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
Ability to read, interpret, and manage changes to, awarded scopes of work and contracts, schedules, budgets and drawings, P&IDs, specifications and execution requirements
