- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering discipline - 10+ years of experience as a structural engineer primarily in the water/wastewater/water resources field - Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee - Experience with U.S. building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 350, and AISC - Knowledge of principles and practices of wind and seismic design, including ability to apply required provisions of the building code. - Experience working in a multi-discipline project team. - Strong written and oral communication skills Ideally, You’ll Also Have: - Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering - 15+ years of experience as a structural engineer primarily in the water/wastewater/water resources design field - Structural Engineer (SE) having passed the 16-hour SE exam by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) - Experience with STAAD Pro, TEDDS, RAM, Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, Bluebeam, and/or BIMskillset This position will require the candidate to be in the Knoxville, TN office two days a week.
