Position Overview:
What You'll Own:
- Lead performance initiatives for mission-critical JFrog security products.
- Build self-healing and reproducible load test environments.
- Identify system bottlenecks across backend services written in Golang and optimize them using deep profiling tools.
- Design customer-lookalike test environments simulating real-world latency and burst loads.
- Deliver executable insights , not just charts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand their domains, design performance, and load tests.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of hands-on performance engineering (not QA) in distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with distributed load testing (Loust/Blazemeter/Jmeter + kubernetes) and code-level profiling (Golang).
- Knowledge in SQL and Python/Java for test automation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain performance flaws to stubborn developers.
- Have written performance test harnesses in Python/Java, and profiled backend code in Golang.
