The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of asset management businesses, ensuring that our processes remain compliant with industry standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including operations, compliance, and IT teams, to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and facilitate the successful implementation and/or transfer of system enhancements. Your expertise in back-office platforms such as Eagle, Bloomberg AIM, FundGuard or FIS InvestOne (IAM) will be crucial in optimizing our workflows and ensuring seamless integration across systems.

Skills and attributes for success

• Expertise in Back Office Platforms: Extensive experience with back-office systems such as Eagle, Bloomberg AIM, FundGuard or FIS InvestOne, including configuration, reporting and optimization, to ensure efficient asset management and fund accounting processes.

• Asset Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of the asset management world and compliance standards in the industry, enabling the identification of risks and implementation of best practices, effective solutions and taking action on stakeholder requirements.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and develop actionable insights, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in back-office operations within the asset management industry or within asset management audit.
Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and extract requirements as per specifications.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements in the asset management sector.
• A willingness to embrace change and adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Previous experience as a business analyst will be a major asset.
