Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of SAP PS solutions to meet business requirements.
- Configure and customize the SAP PS module, including structures, scheduling, budgeting, costing, and reporting functionalities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of the SAP PS module with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR.
- Analyse and map clients' business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Conduct user requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation designs. Follow best practices and SAP functionality in system design.
- Provide expert advice on SAP functionality, change management, and other advisory services.
- Suggest solutions to customer based on best practice.
- Provide guidance on test plans and end-user documentation.
- Conduct training for end-users and other consultants.
- Support and maintain the SAP PS module, including troubleshooting, updates, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with the SAP support team to resolve any issues reported by users.
- Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality, and perform application research.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.
Experience:
- 8-11 years of relevant experience in SAP PS
- Successfully completed at least three end-to-end implementations.
- Experience with integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PS configuration and technical areas.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and writing functional specifications.
- Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role.
- Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Competencies / Skills:
- Experience with data migration strategies and tools for transferring project data into the SAP PS module.
- Experience in setting up of project structures, profiles, and planning tools.
- Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
- Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.
Education:
- Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
- Certification in SAP Project Systems (preferred).
