Job Description:
- The portfolio expert in the area on assigned segments: Safety, Muscle Join and Wellness.
- Support the development of area market segment focused marketing plans (GTM planning) in partnership with the area portfolio leader.
- Provide input and insights from APAC markets into the global segment plan.
- Provide input and approaches for unique needs in thearea/region/countries.
- Be the voice of portfolio needs back to the global segment team.
- Lead area portfolio plans
- Portfolio optimization for area (including PIPO execution)
- Develop and lead competitive insights through deep dive for area.
- Lead execution of area portfolio pricing action within established corridors.
- Execute portfolio level pricing plan for area (including vendavo & salesforce management)
- Support the partnership with mfg team on specific business led action to support GM improvement
- Coordinate Global-led NPI launches in Area / prioritized geographies.
- Lead Area NPI commercialization projects - detailedmarket/consumer/channelanalysis, development of business plans, positioning of products, internal executive alignment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (pharmacy preferred)
- 7+ years of portfolio marketing / new product commercialization experience in consumer health care, safety categories
- Ability to communicate and present the business case with area/functional stakeholders in an effective way
- Able to influence and work collaboratively with global and area functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel functionality, PowerPoint user)
- Experience working in an agile, dynamic environment
- Business Development experience and classical marketing experience
- Ability to lead in a dynamic cross functional organization
- Strong communication and collaboration skill set – including influencing work teams
- Experience interpreting market research or market insights in concert with additional data and business results
- Understanding of 3M businesses, technologies, and culture
- Experience in strategic planning, marketing planning or business management
- Area marketing experience with focus on retail consumer profile and go-to-market needs
- Fluent in English
