As a hands-on senior marketing professional, you will be collaborative and inclusive – seeking input and perspectives across the entire business, both in the Middle East and globally.

You will report directly to the Senior Director for Marketing, Communications and Brand for the Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) and work in partnership with the Middle East leadership team. You will also partner with the Vice-President and General Manager - Middle East, and the Vice-President, Growth and Sales - Middle East.

Key deliverables:

  • You will deliver a compelling internal communications program that generates strong employee engagement and celebrates the success of our people and their capabilities.
  • Support and promote Jacobs employee value proposition in the region, positioning the brand as a key employer of choice for expats and nationals.
  • You will develop and execute marketing plans that focus on growing our business and increasing our market share:
    1. Develop and execute programs for specific markets and solutions.
    2. Work alongside sales to create strategic marketing plans that support key accounts and top-tier pursuits that achieve agreed outcomes and support growth.
    3. Plans will use the full range of activities – from paid & earned media, digital and social marketing, public relations, content – promotional and thought leadership, and customer advocacy.
    4. Manage, measure, analyze and report on activities demonstrating Return On Investment and learnings
    5. Identify and deliver key events and conferences in the region that will support brand positioning and drive market presence.
  • Your powerful storytelling across internal and external channels will humanize our brand and increase engagement across multiple audiences.
  • Your partnership approach with clients, associations, industry bodies, universities, and other key stakeholders will position Jacobs as a thought leader and solutions innovator across multiple markets.
  • You will coordinate and engage in regular communication with growth and sales, market solutions and operations teams to drive awareness and engagement of our marketing activities. You will ensure the region is represented on a global level, co-ordinating and engaging with our Jacobs corporate team to leverage strategic messages and global campaigns within all activities.
Here's what you'll need

With experience managing multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, you must demonstrate expertise in marketing-enabled growth. You will have proven experience developing and executing content marketing strategies with direct business impact and return on investment.

You will understand how to leverage marketing automation systems to bring personalization to marketing activities (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferable), as well as leveraging data to evaluate the impact of marketing to influence the focus and direction of future marketing campaign strategies.

Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated a furthered professional academic career, i.e. MBA or relevant master’s degree in marketing. An account-based marketing background and proficiency in Salesforce would also be highly advantageous.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferable) are essential, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences and cultures.
