You will report to the Senior Manager for the Trust Strategic Program Management Office. This role will require strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for working closely with many cross functional stakeholders. Your ability to inspire and motivate others will be essential in fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
About You:
- You have experience working with senior leaders and delivering strategic objectives through the identification and delivery of initiatives that have material impact on key business metrics
- You have a proven track record of launching complex products in highly constrained environments through the full scope of the product development lifecycle
- You have phenomenal problem solving skills
- You are detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to identify and manage blocking issues
- You build great relationships and can drive alignment across large cross-functional teams
- You enjoy learning how products are built and run, and can distill complex systems and processes into simple written and verbal communications
- You are excellent at connecting the dots across initiatives and ensuring teams are focused on delivering what matters most
In This Role You Will Get To:
- Build relationships within the Trust team and across Airbnb to facilitate successful development and delivery of a strategic roadmap
- Manage the pillar / priority roadmap, consistently evaluating new potential entrants to ensure alignment with metric goals
- Drive metric definition and storytelling explaining strategic priorities’ impact on objectives and key results
- Understand and articulate how initiatives and projects contribute to overall strategic priority metrics
- Track critical milestones within to ensure progress is being achieved
- Lead cross-organization teams and program team driving cross-functional programs from ideation through launch
- Drives delivery of business objectives by ensuring strategies are effective and as necessary leading adjustments that enable the team to meet evolving business needs and market conditions
We Are Looking For People Who Have
- 10+ years of experience driving complex cross-functional programs
- 5+ years of leadership experience i.e. responsibility for direct reports (note: this role is an individual contributor position with long-term opportunity for team leadership)
- Expert understanding of project management and maturation fundamentals
- Excellent communication, engagement and senior leadership influence skills
- Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups and stakeholders is imperative
- Thrives in ambiguity and expertly brings order to chaos
- Professional Program Management certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences preferred
