• Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stake holders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Reasonable additional hours required as part of the project delivery requirements.A day in the life
A normal day involve working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.AWS values diverse experiences. Work/Life Balance
• IT diploma or equivalent in computer hardware, computer science, information systems or related field.
• TCP/IP networking and broad infrastructure knowledge with hands on experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interactions
• Experience in large scale data center network implementations and support.
• Experience in a virtualized enterprise networking environment.
• Ethernet and IP networking knowledge and experience in the application of IP protocols.
• Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective prioritization and time management
