As the Global Distribution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global distribution strategy for VAST. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Worldwide Channels, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and driving strong partnerships with distribution channels worldwide, ensuring VAST’s ability to sell in region and sustain growth.

Distribution Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global distribution strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives for each region (Americas, Europe, Middle East & APJ),
  • Identify, evaluate, and select distribution partners based on strategic fit, market reach, and capabilities for both scale and global logistics.

Training and Enablement:

  • Deliver sales and technical training, including VAST introduction, product knowledge, solution selling, competitive positioning and technical skills development.
  • Drive VASTronaut certification across all regions.

Partnership Management:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with all distribution partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with in-country teams to drive joint business planning, sales enablement, and marketing initiatives.

Market Expansion:

  • Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities for expansion through the recruitment of new distribution partners in new reg strategic regions and countries to VAST.
  • Drive the successful launch of new VAST solutions and services through distribution channels globally.
  • Drive collaboration with Alliance partners in each region such as NVIDIA, Veeam, Commvault, HPE.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution strategies.
  • Conduct regular QBR’s to focus and drive distribution contribution and growth.
  • Analyse sales performance, market share, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align distribution strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance supply chain and Contract Manufacturing management and go-to-market strategies.

Compliance and Contract Management:

  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and legal requirements with distribution partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements, outlining terms and conditions beneficial to VAST.
