JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lead Project Engineer within Adv Tech Europe at Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) in Krakow, you will play a crucial role in the early stages of technology development. Your primary focus will be on managing our external V&V process and on managing our relationships with key collaboration partners such as technology developers and test houses/laboratories. You will have a strong mechanical engineering background and experience in working with international partners. Although not necessarily from a supply chain background you will have experience of building relationships with external parties and of ensuring their delivery is as expected.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage our relationship with key V&V suppliers, ensuring that they deliver test results at an acceptable price, quality, schedule.
  • Manage relationships with key collaboration partners, maintaining their drumbeat of delivery to our projects.
  • Own and maintain the risks associated with these key project and delivery partners.
  • Present progress to stakeholders at various positions within the organization and provide a two-way conduit for communication between stakeholders within the project and external parties.

Key requirements:

  • Fluent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of running V&V projects.
  • Experience of running off-site projects at sub-contractors. Including strong negotiating skills and budget management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Technology Readiness Levels (TRL).
  • Experience of collaborating within cross-functional teams and presenting your concepts to different stakeholders.

  • Experience of working with Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Aircraft Thermodynamic Systems, in particular Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and fuel cell BOP.
  • Understanding of aerospace configuration management and document requirements.
  • Further degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
  • Ability to maintain pressure to deliver on external parties, sometimes with minimal leverage.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
