What you need to know about the roleAt PayPal, we believe in building merchant and developer focused products to unlock the next phase of growth in Commerce. We are seeking a talented Senior Product Manager passionate about building best in class payment experiences for our merchants. In this role you will be responsible merchant experiences and for adoption of our payment solutions and best practices across our global 400M+ merchant and consumer base.


In this role you will,

  • Strategize & Define best ways for merchants to enable payment methods such as PayPal and Venmo across all our integration platforms.

  • Orchestrate work and distill product requirements across multiple PM's and put a cohesive merchant story together to take the product through the developer GTM phases.

  • Own merchant specific work-streams to light up the ideal consumer experience on some of our Large Enterprise merchants, globally.

  • Own end to end merchant value prop and ensure merchants are adopting UX and integration best practices

  • Work closely with all the Checkout PMs and the core integrations team to manage all Branded checkout consumer and merchant use cases (including error handling, Geo and vertical specific use cases and exception handling etc).

  • Provide the right level of support and direction to keep the engineering team working efficiently and aligned with the overall product strategy

  • Participate in regular cadences (stand up's, retrospective, planning meetings) and be engaged with the team throughout the product life cycle.

What you need to bring:

  • 5+ years of product management or other relevant experience (preferably in Fintech/Payments)
  • Masters of Business Administration and/or equivalent masters degree strongly preferred.
  • Deep technical understanding of how SDK and APIs work for merchant integrations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience (developers, product managers and senior business leaders)
  • Extremely analytical and comfortable analyzing large sets of data to come up with key insights for the product team
  • Obsessed with consumer experiences
