Your day-to-day:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:
- Drive technical excellence and best practices.
- Architect and implement robust test frameworks.
- Perform Microsoft Playwright GUI based testing for a variety of products.
- Integrate AI-powered testing solutions into our quality assurance workflow
- Provide tooling and best practice suggestions to our engineering teams to ensure the highest quality.
- Enhance system performance and reliability through optimization.
- Lead quality initiatives and processes for complex software projects
- Write and review test automation code usingJavaScript/TypeScript
- Develop and maintain test frameworks for REST and GraphQL APIs
- Mentor junior QA engineers and developers on testing best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Integrate AI-powered testing solutions into our quality assurance workflow
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of Software development experience.
- Strong understanding of testing technologies (Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver), problem-solving, debugging skills.
- Demonstrated expertise with testing frameworks across web, and backend platforms
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
- Extensive experience with REST and GraphQL API testing
- Strong experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience applying software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience implementing and using AI-based testing tools and methodologies
- Proven ability to mentor and develop other engineers
- Experience designing scalable test architectures for complex systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with visual testing and accessibility testing
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Knowledge of payment processing or financial services industry.

$84500 to $204600
