Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver insightful accounting advice and support to the finance team and broader business, including liaising across teams, educating on processes, and ensuring accurate implementation of accounting treatments and general ledger use by active collaboration.
  • Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries, analysing balances for management reporting insights, and provide ongoing support and updates to finance leaders.
  • Prepare and review key financial reports, oversee and participate in year-end close activities and co-ordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of our processes, policies and controls, and drive process improvements.

Skills and attributes for success

  • CA, CPA or an equivalent completed certification
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IFRS and key accounting principles
  • 3 years or more of financial accounting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience using SAP software
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (knowledge of Power BI and Power Query would be advantageous)
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
