multiple Energy & Power projects including design, perform calculations, prepare contract drawings and specifications and prepare basis of design reports. Part of the role includes delegating work to junior staff and overseeing drawings, specifications and calculations to ensure they meet applicable codes and project requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing full electrical systems, including power, lighting, grounding, emergency and standby generation systems, and life safety systems
- Developing the assigned scope of work, manhour estimates, Electrical Execution Plans, and defined required resources for successful project execution.
- Providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other disciplines
- Taking ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.
