As awithin the Lending Services team at JPMorganChase, you will support a complex portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans, focusing on Term Loan B and Direct Lending products. You will lead a team of subject matter experts, ensuring efficient loan servicing and maintaining a robust control environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Approve transactions within highly complex Term Loan B portfolios.
  • Oversee daily workflow for the Approvals team, ensuring timely release of funding and payment activities across all currencies.
  • Approve loan activities such as fundings, repricings, and payments in accordance with client instructions and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other Approvers to enhance product expertise and best practices within the North America Loan & Agency Approvals teams.
  • Manage all staff matters including performance reviews, training, escalations, and compensation.
  • Engage with transformation teams and business partners to advance strategic agendas focusing on risk mitigation and process improvement.
  • Foster a culture of inclusiveness, accountability, and motivation within the team.
  • Oversee and monitor internal controls related to payments, pricing changes, and other client-impact transactions.
  • Provide information and support to Business Partners, Middle Office, Risk and Control Partners, or Auditors.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience in syndicated loan operations and/or Term Loan B products.
  • Experience with LoanIQ system and servicing of Direct Lending products.
  • General to intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client servicing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage concurrent assignments effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with reading and interpreting syndicated loan documentation.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
