JOB DESCRIPTION

You'll be on a rotating schedule known as"2-2-3." You'll alternate between working two consecutive days,followed by two days off, and then three consecutive days of work. Thisrotation encompasses both daytime and nighttime shifts, including weekends.(For instance, you might work Monday and Tuesday during the day, haveWednesday, Thursday, and Friday off, and then work Saturday and Sunday nights.This pattern continues in a consistent cycle.)


Days – 3:30pm to 3:30am
Nights – 3:30am to 3:30pm
You’ll work both days and nights.
Responsibilities:


• Participatesin continuous improvement events and routinely participates in 5S activities.
• Activelyparticipates in shift relief (Tier 1 meeting).
• Operatescomplex equipment such as controls that regulate mix, feed, and flow ofchemicals including responsibility for proper functioning of equipment inApollo units.
• Observesdata from controllers and recorders to make process changes and troubleshootmalfunctioning equipment.
• Redirectsor shuts off feeder lines during emergencies and alerts supervisor of actiontaken.
• Participateson process improvement teams.
• Makesscheduled routine inspections of operating areas to observe operatingconditions and reports any irregularities.
• Createswork notifications on equipment needing repair in operating area.
• Collectsand records operating data, runs variety of routine control checks duringoperations and makes appropriate operational changes.
• Makesprocess changes as necessary to meet various operational requirements.
• Makesminor repairs to operating equipment as needed.
• Followsstandard practices and procedures as established for plant operations.
• Modifies/Reviewsoperating procedures on an annual basis.
• Requiredmember of emergency brigade.
• PotentialOJT certification and training of new operators as required.
• Performsall necessary housekeeping duties in area.
• Hazardouswaste sampling, hazardous waste packaging/loading duties, container marking andlabeling, hazardous waste container handling and management, respond tochemical spills and releases, and conduct and document routine inspections
• Performsall other duties as required / assigned.
• Able toclimb 200 foot of stairs at times, Able to work in PPE, Able to open closevalves up to 100 lbs of force, Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

•High School Diplomaor GED
•3+ years' experience working within a manufacturingenvironment
•Valid driver's license We Value:

•Experience with OSHA/PSM regulations
•Knowledgeable in safety, quality and process controls
