Work with our Largest and most Strategic Accounts
As a Senior Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a strategic sales plan, proactively developing account plans, maximize territory opportunities through existing customer revenue growth
- Utilizing marketing resources to create & manage high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution of the sales plan
- Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers
- Managing and driving contract negotiations to guarantee customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technology
- Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs
- Increasing revenue generation by growing install base accounts & selling into the whitespace
- Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Minimizing lost revenue and churn
- Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realize the Value of their Akamai services
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have relevant sales experience working with Carrier organizations, selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions
- Have good knowledge of Internet infrastructure, enterprise software, cyber security, zero trust and cloud concepts
- Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
- Have consultative selling style with the ability to sell technical products and complex business solutions
- Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
