General Summary:

  • Skills/experience: : Experience 4-6 is also fine

  • Solid Understanding of computer architecture/ software architecture for SoCs

  • Camera technology background is must to have

  • Should have worked on the Camera IP and relevant camera driver stack

  • Should have working knowledge on Automotive cameras with bayer and non-bayer sensors

  • Knowledge about camera image quality

  • Knowledge on Camera end to end use cases

  • Working experience on Camera KPI requirements (Rear View Camera, Surround View cameras)

  • Good grasp of QNX/Linux OS fundamentals, scripting skills

  • Software programming, such as C/C++ and scripting is a must (python, shell)

  • Develop and execute Test Plans (both automated and Manual)

  • Review and develop test plans based on product, feature and engineering requirements.

  • Excellent Debugging Skills.

  • ASPICE compliance for Test work products

  • Excellent knowledge and compliance to 26262 and ASIL is good to have

  • Basic Level ISTQB Certification is good to have.

  • Good understanding of the ADAS/Multimedia systems.

  • Good understanding and practice of Scrum and Agile methodology.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Technically lead the features (Interacting with Development Leads to bring up the new test plans for camera features).

  • Responsible for test development including definition, implementation and automating the tests and support manual and automated testing

  • Responsibilities also include working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems, interpreting domain area specifications and product requirements, organizing test results and logging defects into the defect tracking system

  • Work with both a local lead and remote teams on debugging issues and implementing automotive Camera features.

  • Creation of new checklists, templates towards the ASPICE process and also perform the internal reviews.

  • Support in identifying the gaps in test areas and process areas and suggest the improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
