As an accounting analyst at IBM you’ll be a key player in all aspects of strategic payments planning. You will make significant contributions to high-profile operational initiatives as the business continues to grow globally.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM Accounting Kuala Lumpur (IAKL), which commenced operations in Malaysia in 1994, provides world-class accounting services, demonstrating its outstanding leadership in supporting the Accounting processes and analysis, financial systems and process controls for the Asia Pacific.- Candidates require to read mandarin Contract which signed in China and Taiwan.
- Candidates require to read and perform contract review.
- Candidates has basic knowledge in accounting, understand the accounting ledger system.
- Candidates able to work with and communicate to CFO, Finance, Pricer and Opportunity Owner (OO) independently.
- Candidates require to work closely within the team and interlock with WW accounting for specific contract review.
- Attend night meeting with WW accounting on specific topic for eg. harmonization and consistency discussion.
- Proactively review and prepare contract review assessment in according to the US GAAP.
- Perform self-inspection on work areas and implement measures to ensure compliance with IBM accounting and country practices and guidelines.
- Demonstrate growth mindset.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Banking/ Commerce Accounting, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management (Major in Finance or Accounting will be added advantages).
• Excellent academic background with either a First Class Honours degree or a strong Second Class Upper Honours (Minimum CGPA 3.0)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to absorb professional knowledge rapidly.
• Proficient in IT skills relevant to the job requirements.
• Motivated and results-driven individual with a proactive approach.
• Position located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication in Chinese and English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese or Korean is an added advantage.
