ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Data Science Lead, you’ll manage a team of scientists working in the media measurement space. Your primary focus will be guiding scientific approach in developing and deploying advanced marketing measurement models (e.g., lifetime value, media mix). You will also lead Audible's scaled experimentation program, maintaining scientific integrity in global paid media experiments and guiding meta-analytical work to assess program health. Additionally, you will serve as the primary scientific contact for third-party media partners (Meta, Google), collaborating with them on new measurement approaches. You'll work with Audible marketers to translate sophisticated scientific methodologies into actionable business strategies, ultimately driving more effective marketing investments.ABOUT YOU

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years managing a team of scientists or engineers, with a proven track record of hiring and developing junior team members
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline and 5+ years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with marketing measurement models, including experience with articulating modeling trade-offs to business partners
- Hands-on experience in designing and evaluating experiments, including experience with formal meta-analytical approaches for evaluating programs of experimentation
- Hands-on experience with successfully putting marketing models into production
- Fluency in Python and SQL
- Experience influencing and delivering on a science roadmap
