What you'll do...


What you'll do:

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and storing large volumes of data from various sources - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure the availability of accurate and relevant data

  • Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and system failures

  • Perform data modeling and schema design to support efficient data storage and retrieval

  • Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data - Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and incorporate them into the existing infrastructure

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers on best practices and industry standards

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a senior or lead role

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

  • Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
