Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
Coordinating the procurement of supplied products required for production
Conducting supplier background checks and requesting price quotations
Preparing and issuing Purchase Orders (POs)
Cooperating closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Ensuring that procurement processes are standardized and follow internal policies
Daily communication and relationship management with the supplier base
Maintaining and updating supplier records
Contract negotiations and contract management
Daily tracking of required raw materials and components
Coordination and development of work processes to support efficient operations
The job requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
