About The Role

As the Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Lead – DV Engineer Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and Managing a Verification Team: You’ll guide and support the verification team, fostering a positive culture and ensuring work-life balance.

  • Verification Planning and Execution: Develop verification plans and execute them to achieve tape-out quality within specified timelines.

  • Industry-Leading Verification Methodologies: Deploy advanced verification methodologies such as Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and Formal Verification.

  • Testbench and Verification Component Development: Create testbenches and verification components, including Universal Verification Components (UVCs), C models, and reusable verification environments.

  • Coverage Analysis: Ensure comprehensive coverage and collaborate with design teams to address any coverage gaps.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, SoC, and validation teams to solve problems at various levels.

  • Integration Support: Assist in integrating design into higher-level subsystems, including test planning, test vector delivery, and test vector debugging.

  • Project Reviews: Actively participate in project reviews to drive successful outcomes.

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 8+ years of ASIC design verification experience, preferably with UVM-based functional verification.

  • People Management: Experience in managing teams is preferred.

  • ISA Verification: Familiarity with ARM or RISC-V ISA verification.

  • Formal Verification Tools: Experience using formal verification tools like Jasper or VC_Formal is a plus.

  • Microcontroller/Sub-System Experience: Knowledge of processor/microcontroller sub-systems is advantageous.

  • AMBA Bus Protocols: Familiarity with AMBA bus protocols is desirable.

  • Gate-Level Simulation and Power Extraction: Experience with gate-level simulation debug and power extraction tools is beneficial.

  • Power-Aware Verification: Understanding of power-aware verification methodologies.

  • Coverage-Driven Verification: Proficiency in constrained-random verification environments and coverage-driven methodologies.

  • System Verilog Assertions: Experience with System Verilog assertions.

  • RTL Simulation Tools: Extensive usage of RTL simulation tools.

  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in UVM, System Verilog, and Perl/Python shell scripting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
