Manage the day-to-day operations of Project Management Office (PMO) team by planning, directing and coordinating projectmanagement/administrationactivities for a portfolio of programs and projects within the Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology Group
Ensure essential PMO procedures are followed within team and the wider group. Update and maintain internal processes in the delivery of relevant project management (PM) governance documents are in accordance with Citi PM Policies and PM Standards
Provide oversight of incremental enhancement requests for PM governance documents by providing thorough impact analysis and centrally coordinate accordingly on each request
Drive awareness across the Global Equities Cash & Derivatives Technology Group to ensure understanding and adoption of best practices and new mandates
Act as Subject Matter Expert related to the Citi standard project management and investment management tools by providing support on inquiries raised across the organization, provide training to other project managers and business analysts
Coach and mentoring immediate team of PMO as well as project managers and business analysts related to PM best practices
Develop communications and/or presentations to share status and training materials to showcase new changes in PM governance to key stakeholders and business analysts/project manager communities
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the programs to define and track key operational/program metrics and to help drive business decisions to achieve goals
Work closely with Business Analysts and Technology Leads to identify and document key performance indicators and critical success criteria
Oversee management of project deliveries, monitor and manage risks and challenges whilst escalating to senior management as required
Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Knowledge/Experience:
6 - 10 years of Project Management / Project Management Office experience, a Technology, Financial Services, Banking, or Consultancy environment
Equity product knowledge a plus
Excellent Microsoft office skills and be an advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working with globally distributed development cross-functional teams
Experience in projects with various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
Experience using application lifecycle tools such as JIRA/JQL
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
Recognized program/project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.
Skills:
Exceptional organization skills, close attention to details - proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecards
Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently, ability to multitask across multiple concurrent projects, ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
Self-motivated with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
Ability to work in a globally distributed team environment
Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
Developed diplomacy skills - taking a pragmatic and considered approach in order to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies(Waterfall/Traditional,Agile & Hybrid) required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
