• Architect, Design and Develop Test Strategies for various zOS Components, features
• Identify Test Automation opportunities, implement test cases for automation
• Modernise Test definition, implementation and execution mechanisms and solutions.
• Collaborate with global test teams
• Look for continuous improvements in Software Testing Life cycle

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must Have:
8+ years of relevant experience

• Hands on Experience with the Software Testing life cycle; unit test, functional, system testing preferably OS or enterprise class software products
• Demonstrated QA execution experience of Systems project development, testing and release processes
• z/OS based application development and testing experience
• Strong experience in defining Test cases, test case automation
• Experience in test automation using python, test frameworks such as selenium,
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Defect identification, work with development teams in fix validation
• Ability to learn new tools quickly
• Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
• Able to guide a team of lesser experienced professionals

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• zOS architecture, System programming, Linux
• Programming languages: MVS JCL, REXX, Java, REST APIs
• Dump reading using Interactive Problem Control System (IPCS). Ability to interpret logs and dumps
