As a Payments Client Service Oversight & Governance Senior Associate within the Advocacy and Control Execution Team, you will oversee and govern risks and controls related to Payments Client Service functions across EMEA. Your role will involve engaging with various internal stakeholder groups such as Client Service Teams for Treasury Services, Merchant Services, and Trade Finance, as well as other Global Partners within the group.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads / represents Advocacy and Control Execution on projects required to meet local, regional and global regulations
  • Prepares and gathers material for EMEA governance meetings / risk and control forums and other reporting as required
  • Partners with senior managers to agree key content of materials
  • Acts as key liaison within the EMEA Advocacy & Control Execution team to drive consistency and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Leads and owns governance and oversight of the following, including partnering with the EMEA Payments Control Management organization as required -
    • Data breaches / privacy incidents
    • Overdraft notifications
    • Procedure Management / re-certification
  • Supports on Early Escalations / RED Events as required
  • Builds strong relationships across the Client Service Teams to help drive continued evolvement and improvement of the governance and reporting process

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners in internal LOBs
  • Self-motivation coupled with strong analytical skills and internal process control skills
  • Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information and form an opinion or conclusion
  • Familiarity with data visualisation / automation tools – Tableau, Xceptor, Alteryx
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent report writer and summarizer of complex issues / solutions
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to complete work to deadlines, with a sense of urgency and effective time management including: goal setting, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and monitoring
