Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switch gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues.Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
Coordinate daily with third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
Communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Ensure safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
Test safety, quality, reliability, and performance of products, equipment and processes.A day in the life
Data Centers are a 24/7 operation. Work schedule changes depending on specific site needs, to include working nights.Role is expected to respond to out-of-hours emergency calls.Diverse Experiences

High School or Secondary school Diploma.
2+ years of relevant work experience in a data center, other critical environment, or Technical (Military/Trade) experience.
2+ years experience re: understanding of the electrical or mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as: transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, pumps, chillers, and air handling units.
3+ years experience as a people manager.
1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving.
1+ years of experience with reading and understanding schematics and blueprints.
