- Assemble mechanical/electrical of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and integration of final vehicle assembly fabricating and/or processing materials into complex manufactured products in a Cleanroom and ESD control environment
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc)
- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
- Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Shift may vary, depending on program needs.Export Control Requirement:
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.A day in the life
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience, or relevant aerospace trade school certification
- 2+ years of hands on work experience Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/or - 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced production environment with Flight Hardware
- 2+ years of hand on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices(i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
- 2+ able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
