Senior Quantity Surveyor
Join a team of specialists providing commercial guidance and expertise and ensuring that challenging projects are delivered on time and on budget. Working closely with the Project Manager you will develop commercial strategies to ensure that risks and opportunities are identified and managed on a diverse portfolio of technology projects from between £500k and £15m in value. Considering both upstream and downstream accounts you will manage claims and submissions to ensure that margin is protected and enhanced and working capital recovered in a timely manner. Your skills and expertise will be vital for the commercial operation of the contract, preparation of claims and submissions to ensure our customers expectations are exceeded and business objectives achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and execute project commercial strategies.
Monitor budget, estimate and completion and S-curve analysis
Guide and influence the Project Manager on commercial risks and opportunities.
Preparation and submission of scope and time claims and variations.
Maximising commercial opportunity to enhance margins and improve working capital position.
Preparation and submission of applications for payments and accounts.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree Quantity Surveying or related discipline
5+ years of Quantity Surveying / Project Commercial Management experience
Proven ability to work with a variety of standard form and bespoke contracts and applicable statute.
Proven track record of successfully developing, implementing and executing project commercial strategies and leading the Project Manager on commercial risks and opportunities
Proven ability to develop successful claims and recovery and defence of boh upstream and downstream claims.
