This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office+ 2 days work from home model.
Key Responsibilities - Designing, prototyping, and validating opto-mechanical systems for LIDAR technologies intended for airborne applications.
- Engaging in experimental laboratory work focused on data collection, evaluation, and result interpretation.
Key skills and qualifications
- University education with major in Optics, Mechanical or Physics engineering
- 2 years practical industry and/or engineering science experience in opto-mechanics, optics, physics or laser technology field. Experience with all phases of the prototype development life cycle (i.e. design, prototyping, testing, results interpretation) and their optimization
- Knowledge of CAD software, ANSYS, or similar simulation tools
- Advanced command of English language
- Any of the following if an advantage: Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink, software configuration management tools (e.g. GitHub, SVN, Python, electronics design
