You will work with our most advanced and innovative financial services customers interested to implement and securely scale-up their GenAI strategy, optimize the cost performance of their quantitative trading algorithms, and advance scientific compute software on our accelerated compute instances to help them get the best price/performance, and scale-out possible. You will also work directly with financial services software vendors (ISVs) to enable them to deliver their software better on AWS to their customers. You will create the AWS reference architectures that our customers use to implement their projects. You will work directly with our services teams, internal partners, and external partners (like Intel, AMD, ARM and NVIDIA), and Annapurna Labs to make sure AWS is the best place to run these advanced workloads for our customers.

- 7+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries using accelerated computing hardware and approach (cpu, gpu) specifically with HPC, ML frameworks for workloads in financial services and insurance.
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with deployment, tuning and management of distributed high-throughput environment.
- Experience in High Performance Computing, AI/ML, Math, Quantum Information Systems and Technologies, Big data, or similar accelerated computing technologies in the cloud or on-prem.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Working knowledge of HPC schedulers and distributed/parallel file systems, underlying IT systems, and the HPC development process, high throughput and tight coupling approaches.
- Working knowledge of containers such as Docker and Kubernetes and general application modernization framework.
- Working knowledge of fast and low latency storage services
- Experience using PyTorch, Tensorflow, JaX, CUDA, NeMo
- Experience with MPI, NVLink, Infiniband
- Deep GPU knowledge in HPC and/or AI/ML frameworks.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
